CERENEO – DIGITAL NEUROREHABILITATION
UI/UX Design
CERENEO
Cereneo is a world-class Swiss clinic specializing in neurology and rehabilitation. The goal of this project was to bridge the gap between complex clinical expertise and the patient’s home environment. We developed a digital ecosystem that not only showcases their high-end medical services but also serves as a functional tool for recovery.
THE STRATEGY
The strategic challenge was to translate a highly specialized and technological clinical environment into a warm, intuitive, and reassuring digital experience. The goal was not just to provide information, but to guide patients and their families through a complex recovery journey. Patient-Centric Information Architecture: We structured the site to address three critical stages of the user journey: inpatient rehabilitation, the transition back home (Transfer), and remote maintenance (Online).
Trust-Based Conversion: We implemented a "Social Proof" and authority strategy using prominent KPIs (4.9 therapy sessions per day, 152 scientific publications) to instantly validate the effectiveness of the Swiss method. Cognitive Accessibility: Given that the target audience may have neurological impairments, the navigation was designed to be linear, featuring large Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons and a visual hierarchy that prevents mental fatigue.
VISIONARY DESIGN
The visual design moves away from the "cold" aesthetic of traditional hospitals, leaning into a concept of "Medical Hospitality." Healing Color Palette: The use of vibrant lime green symbolizes growth and vitality, while soft grises and white space provide the technical sobriety required for an elite health institution. Custom Iconography: We developed a unique visual language through minimalist line icons representing various therapies (cognitive, physical, nutrition). This facilitates intuitive navigation for users with diverse cognitive abilities. Purposeful Photography: Images were selected to emphasize human connection and the use of mobile devices at home, breaking down the barrier of "tech-fear" and reinforcing the message: "Recovery is just one click away." Micro-interaction Design: We implemented clean dropdown menus (such as "Diagnosis & Therapy") that organize the extensive clinical offering without cluttering the visual space, maintaining a modern and airy aesthetic.
